Betting apps in Nigeria: where to download each one safely
Every bookmaker's app comes from one of three places: its Google Play listing, the App Store, or an APK file from the bookmaker's own page. Anything else, such as an APK site, a file sent on WhatsApp or a “modded” version, is not the bookmaker's app.

Installing an APK safely
- Download it only from the bookmaker's own download page, linked on each app's page here.
- Your phone will ask to allow installing apps from outside Google Play. Allow it for that one file, then switch it off again.
- Never type your password, PIN or a one-time code into anything except the app or the bookmaker's site. Nobody from the bookmaker needs them.
Fake betting apps
- A file sent on WhatsApp or Telegram, or a “modded” or “VIP” version, is not the bookmaker's app.
- An “old version” APK from another site is a file nobody has checked. The bookmakers' pages and the stores give the current version only.
- On Google Play, check the developer: each app's page here names the one behind the real app, and says when a bookmaker has no app there at all.
If a betting app will not open or log you in
- Update it from where you installed it: Google Play, or the bookmaker's own page for an APK.
- Use the bookmaker's website in your phone's browser in the meantime: your account and balance are the same.
- If an OTP or SMS code does not arrive, or the account is blocked, contact the bookmaker's customer care on the official contacts.
