Privacy policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

PunditNG (“we”) runs punditng.com, its app, the code converter and the PunditNG pages on Telegram and Facebook. There are no accounts here: we never ask for your name, phone number, email or bank details, and we do not sell or share data with advertisers. This page lists everything that is recorded and why.

Reading the site

Following a link to a bookmaker

Links to bookmakers pass through go.punditng.com. For each click we record the time, the bookmaker, the page you came from, your country and your browser type, plus a random click number that is passed on to the bookmaker. We do not record your IP address in this log. The click number lets the bookmaker's affiliate programme tell us when an account was opened through our link; it reports totals and amounts, not who you are.

Our web server also keeps a technical access log (IP address, address requested, time, browser type) to investigate faults and disputed figures. It is overwritten as it fills, usually within a few weeks.

Once you are on a bookmaker's site, its own privacy policy applies. Its registration, identity checks and payments are between you and it.

The booking code converter

A code you convert, on the site or through @PunditNGConvertBot on Telegram, is sent to the bookmakers involved so they can read the slip and book it again. The result is kept for up to 30 minutes so the same code is not booked twice. To stop misuse, your IP address (or your Telegram user number in the bot) is held in memory for ten minutes to count requests, and never written to disk.

For a comparison of bookmakers' prices we keep the odds of converted selections: match, market and the two prices. For a code you convert, that record holds neither the code nor anything about who asked.

The app and alerts

Telegram and Facebook

Our Telegram channel and Facebook page are run under those platforms' own privacy rules. On Facebook we publish posts through our own app, which only posts to our page and reads its statistics and the comments under our posts. We receive no data about you from Facebook beyond what anyone can see on the page.

Email

If you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply, and delete them when you ask.

Your rights and deleting data

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Write to contact@punditng.com. Most of what we keep cannot be tied to a person, so tell us what you used (an alert, a converted code, an email) and roughly when, and we will find and delete it within 30 days. You can delete a comment on our Facebook page yourself, on Facebook, at any time.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Age

This site is about betting and is only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone younger.

Changes

When what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
