1xBet Nigeria registration: sign up, ID checks and the bonus rules
Signing up for 1xBet Nigeria takes one short form.
The rules that matter come later: whose details are on the account, how many accounts your household has, and what the welcome bonus locks up. This page goes through the sign-up form, then those rules, each from 1xBet’s own pages.
Is 1xBet licensed in Nigeria?
Yes. 1xBet Nigeria is on the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority’s register as “1XBET.NG”, run by Beauforbet Nigeria Limited. The licence runs to 5 August 2027 (LSLGA register).

You must be 18 or older to bet (1xBet rules, section 2).
How to register on 1xBet Nigeria
Open 1xbet.ng or the app and tap Registration. The form has three tabs (1xBet registration page):
- By phone. Enter your number after +234 and get a code by SMS. Choose naira (NGN) as the currency.
- By e-mail. A form in three steps. The first asks for your first name, surname, email and sex. 1xBet suggests a Gmail address, so its emails reach you.
- Social networks and messengers. Sign up with Apple ID, Google, X or Telegram, then choose Nigeria and naira.
Each tab has an optional promo code field. On the phone and social tabs, the sports welcome bonus is already selected. When you tap Register, you accept 1xBet’s terms and confirm you are of legal age.

Fill in your profile with your real details
Whichever tab you use, finish your profile in My Account straight away. Two rules depend on it:
- The bonus. It is paid only once your account details are complete and your phone number is confirmed (1xBet first deposit bonus).
- The ID check. Your ID must show your name, photo, date of birth and citizenship. These must “completely coincide with the data in player’s profile” (1xBet rules, section 31: KYC).
What to do: type your name and date of birth exactly as on your ID. Use your own phone number and email. You cannot fix a wrong name by opening a new account, as the next rule shows.
One account per person, and per household
1xBet allows each customer one account. It also allows only one account per family, address, email, IP address, card or wallet. A customer may not register again under a new name or email (1xBet rules, section 7.1).
If 1xBet finds a duplicate, it can block the accounts. It can then cancel the winnings and return only the balance you had when its check began.
What to do: if someone in your house already bets on 1xBet, a second account at the same address breaks this rule. Never register for someone else, and never let anyone use yours.
When 1xBet asks for documents
1xBet can ask for documents at any time. It can also cancel payments until it has checked them (1xBet rules, section 7.1). What it may ask for (section 31: KYC):
- ID with your photo: driving licence, identity card or passport.
- Proof of address, if asked: a recent utility bill or bank statement, for example.
- A selfie holding your ID, or a video call.
- Proof of funds, to show the money you bet is your own.
A check can take up to 72 hours from when your documents arrive. After a video call, the result can take 5 working days, and checking a video of your documents up to 14.
1xBet can also ask questions when you withdraw by a different method from the one you deposited with. Deposit and withdraw the same way.

The welcome bonus: decide before your first deposit
1xBet gives a bonus on your first deposit only, from ₦1,700. The size depends on the deposit (1xBet first deposit bonus):

Half the bonus is for sports and half for 1xGames, a games section of 1xBet. Each half has its own wagering:
- Sports half: wager it 5 times with a 200% bonus, or 10 times with a larger one. Only accumulators of 3 or more selections count. At least 3 selections must be at odds of 1.40 or more.
- 1xGames half: wager it 30 times, or 35 times with the larger bonuses.
- Time limit: 30 days from the day you registered, not from your deposit.
An example: you deposit ₦10,000 and get ₦20,000.
The ₦10,000 sports half needs ₦50,000 of accumulator bets. The ₦10,000 games half needs ₦300,000 of bets in 1xGames.
You cannot withdraw until the wagering is done.
There is one exception: you may take back up to your deposits if your balance is at least twice the bonus.
You can also give the bonus up while your balance is above it. You then keep your deposits and lose the bonus and its winnings.
What to do: if you want to withdraw freely, do not take the bonus. The bonus terms say you must agree to it, in your account settings or on the deposit page, before you deposit. Choose there.
Before your first deposit
- Read 1xBet’s withdrawal rules first: they decide whether you get paid.
- Save 1xBet’s official contacts. Anyone who messages you first, offering help with a withdrawal, is not 1xBet.
- Never share your password, or the codes 1xBet sends for withdrawals and phone changes. Its rules forbid it.
If betting stops being fun
By registering you confirm you do not have a gambling problem (1xBet rules, section 2). 1xBet offers self-exclusion for 1 month, 6 months or 1 year (section 32), or up to 5 years (section 5). For other limits, its rules give no working address, so ask support.
