The most common complaint about 1xBet Nigeria is getting money out. Several of the rules behind it are worth reading before you deposit.

1xBet’s full rules run to 275 pages. This review pulls out the parts that decide whether you get paid.

Before you deposit: three withdrawal rules

These are the rules most likely to hold up a withdrawal.

Bet your deposit before you withdraw it. Your bets must add up to at least the total of your deposits, at odds of 1.1 or more. Otherwise 1xBet can refuse the withdrawal (1xBet rules, section 7.2).
Withdraw the way you deposited. You can only withdraw to the same payment details you used to deposit. If you used several methods, withdrawals are split in proportion.
Use only your own account. 1xBet can block payments made with someone else’s wallet or card and refuse withdrawals to details that are not yours.

What to do: deposit from your own OPay, PalmPay or bank account, and plan to withdraw to the same one.

Verification: expect it, and answer fast

1xBet can ask for documents at any time and “cancel any payments until all such details have been verified” (rules, section 7.1).

What they ask for: a valid ID with your photo, sometimes proof of address, and in some cases proof of where your money comes from.
Your ID must match your profile exactly: name, date of birth and other details. Fill in your profile correctly from the start (rules, section 31).
How long it takes: up to 72 hours after they receive your documents. If they ask for a video call, the result can take up to 14 working days.
If you refuse: 1xBet can void your bets and freeze your money.

Separately, 1xBet can start its own check on your payments and block the account while it runs. Its rules say this can last up to 180 days (rules, section 7.2).

One account per household

1xBet allows one account per person, and also only one per family, address, IP address, card or wallet (rules, section 7.1). If two people in one house both register, both accounts are at risk.

If 1xBet decides an account is a duplicate, it can cancel the winnings and return only the balance you had when the check began.

Void bets, errors and complaints

A void selection is removed from your accumulator. The rest of the bet stands (rules, section 3).
Wrong settlements are corrected. If a result was entered wrongly, the bet is recalculated. If that leaves your balance negative, you cannot bet until you deposit enough to cover it.
Postponed matches: if a match moves by more than 48 hours, bets on it are usually void (rules, section 9).
Obvious errors: bets on a clear misprint can be settled at odds of 1, which means you get only your stake back (rules, section 2).

The deadline to complain is short. You have 10 days from when you knew about the problem, by email, with your evidence attached. 1xBet then has 30 days to reply (rules, section 6).

Selling a bet (cash out)

1xBet calls cash out “bet slip sale”, and it does not promise the option will be there. It is unavailable if any selection is blocked, and 1xBet can suspend it for any event without a reason (rules, section 3.1).

The price it offers is not negotiable.

Maximum stake and payout

The maximum return is €50,000 per bet. The rules give no naira figure (rules, section 3).
1xBet can lower the maximum stake or odds for an individual player “without notice or providing a reason”.

The welcome bonus

1xBet gives up to ₦600,000 on your first deposit. You cannot withdraw until the bonus is wagered (1xBet bonus rules). If you want to withdraw freely, do not take it.

Drawbacks: what players complain about

Of the 1,520 Google Play reviews of the 1xBet Nigeria app posted from 23 March to 22 September 2026, 176 gave one or two stars. The table counts those. One review can mention several things.

Some withdrawal complaints match the rules above. Some players tried to withdraw a deposit they had not bet with. Others could not finish a withdrawal because the SMS code did not arrive.

Of the 1,307 four- and five-star reviews on Google Play, 39 call the app easy to use and 19 praise fast payouts. 1xBet replies to almost every review: 1,481 of the 1,520.

Licence

1xBet Nigeria is run by Beauforbet Nigeria Limited. It is on the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority’s register of licensed online betting operators as “1XBET.NG” (LSLGA register).

Its site footer also names a second permit: No. SBOC/1XB06AG15/0004/V1, dated 6 August 2026 and valid until 5 August 2027.

The footer says the permit was “granted by member States acting through the Federation of State Gaming Regulators of Nigeria (FSGRN) under the Universal Reciprocity Licensing Framework” (1xBet Nigeria site). The footer spells the company Beaufortbet; the Lagos register spells it Beauforbet.

If betting stops being fun

1xBet’s rules offer self-exclusion for 1 month, 6 months or 1 year (rules, section 32), and in another section for up to 5 years (section 5). The rules give no working address for setting limits, so ask support directly.
