Before you contact Betway about a withdrawal
These are Betway's own rules on withdrawals. Check them before you write: when one of them applies, it is the answer support will give.
- How long it takes: Usually automatic (the FAQ); the terms allow up to 2 business days.
- A large withdrawal may be paid in several parts over several days.
- Withdrawals of ₦250,000 to ₦500,000 need a verified account; above ₦500,000, also a meeting with a Betway representative.
- Only to a bank account in your registered name, or a wallet on the same mobile number as your Betway account.
What people bring to Betway support
Each links to Betway's own rule on it and what to do:
- Betway withdrawal pending: how long does it take?
- Betway minimum withdrawal: is there a minimum or a maximum?
- Betway wants me to verify before I can withdraw
- Betway suspended my account when I tried to withdraw
- Why is my Betway withdrawal smaller than my balance?
- Can I withdraw from Betway to OPay or to someone else's account?
How to tell a fake Betway agent
Betway lists one phone number and one email address, support@betway.com.ng. A number or address that is not on this page is not one Betway gives, whoever posts it. The other signs are the same at every bookmaker: how to spot a fake agent, and what to have ready before you call.
