BetKing withdrawal problems: pending, failed or blocked
Most stuck BetKing withdrawals come down to a handful of rules: how long a payout may take, whose name the account is in, and how much of the balance can be withdrawn at all. Below, each problem with what BetKing's own pages say about it and what to do, with the page linked so you can check it yourself.
How long does a BetKing withdrawal take?
BetKing's FAQ says to allow up to 24 hours, and OPay and PalmPay are described as instant. Its terms allow up to 5 working days.
What to do: Do not query it before 24 hours have passed.
How do I withdraw from BetKing?
BetKing's help gives four steps: log in, open Withdrawal in your account menu, type the amount and pick your bank details, then proceed; it says the money reaches your bank within 24 hours. BetKing asks every customer to save at least one bank account for withdrawals, under My Account – Edit Profile – Bank Account Info. You can withdraw to it while it is still being verified.
What to do: Save a bank account in your own name before your first withdrawal, then withdraw to it. To OPay or PalmPay, use the wallet on the same phone number as your BetKing account.
BetKing will not let me withdraw my deposit
BetKing's FAQ says you must place bets before a withdrawal can be authorised.
What to do: Stake the deposit first. Deposit only what you mean to bet.
BetKing withdrawal limit: how much can I withdraw?
₦10,000,000 per withdrawal and ₦40,000,000 a day, no more than 4 withdrawals in 24 hours, and ₦5,000,000 a day to OPay or PalmPay. BetKing charges no withdrawal fee.
What to do: Split a large withdrawal across days, and use a bank account for amounts above the OPay and PalmPay limit.
BetKing is asking for my ID before paying out
BetKing can ask for ID before a payout: its FAQ says on winnings above ₦400,000, its terms mention ₦1,000,000. An unanswered request for 7 days can lead to a suspended account and a frozen balance.
What to do: Send a voter's card, international passport, national ID or driver's licence with your photo, full name and date of birth, not expired, within 7 days.
My BetKing withdrawal to OPay or PalmPay failed
Your BetKing phone number must match your OPay or PalmPay number, and the account must be in your name.
What to do: Withdraw to the wallet on the same number as your BetKing account, or to your saved bank account.
Before you contact support
- Use only BetKing's own app, site or verified social accounts. Anyone who messages you first offering to “release” a withdrawal for a fee is not BetKing.
- Never share your password, PIN or one-time codes. A transaction reference goes to your bank or to the bookmaker's support, nobody else.
- Have ready: the amount, the date and time, the account it went to, and a screenshot of the transaction.
