Football.com withdrawal problems: pending, failed or blocked
Most stuck Football.com withdrawals come down to a handful of rules: how long a payout may take, whose name the account is in, and how much of the balance can be withdrawn at all. Below, each problem with what Football.com's own pages say about it and what to do, with the page linked so you can check it yourself.
My Football.com withdrawal is pending. How long does it take?
Football.com says a withdrawal should normally reach your bank at once. Some pending withdrawals show a notice that they will be checked by hand within three business days.
What to do: If it is still pending after 24 hours, or you see the manual-check notice, contact customer care by live chat or nigeria.support@football.com with the trade number of the withdrawal.
Why can I not withdraw all my Football.com balance?
Your all-time withdrawals must stay below 2 times your all-time total stake or total winnings, and money you have not staked cannot be withdrawn.
What to do: Check your withdrawable balance before you ask for a withdrawal. Bet a deposit before you try to take it out.
Football.com says the name on my bank account does not match
The name confirmed on your first deposit becomes your account name, and bank withdrawals go only to an account in that name. Accounts in a company's name are not allowed.
What to do: Withdraw to a personal account in the exact name you confirmed. Football.com's pages give no way to change that name, so ask customer care if it was wrong.
I withdrew to the wrong account number on Football.com
Football.com says it is not responsible for money withdrawn to an account you entered wrongly, will not recover it and will not credit your account.
What to do: Contact your bank at once with the transaction details; it is the only one that can try to trace the transfer. Check the account number every time before you confirm.
My Football.com account was suspended for review
Football.com can suspend an account to check for money laundering, for example when it is used only to deposit and withdraw without bets, when money goes to many different people's accounts, or after too many withdrawals in one day. It can also restrict an account until its identity checks are done.
What to do: Ask customer care in writing what it needs, and send it. Bet what you deposit, and withdraw only to your own account.
Football.com minimum and maximum withdrawal: how much can I withdraw?
From ₦100 to ₦9,999,999 per withdrawal, free of charge. Football.com publishes no daily maximum; your bank's own daily transfer limit can still make a withdrawal fail.
What to do: Split anything above ₦9,999,999 into several withdrawals.
Can I withdraw a Football.com gift?
A gift cannot be withdrawn, only used to bet. What a gift bet wins can be withdrawn at once, with no wagering conditions; a free bet pays the profit, not the stake.
What to do: Use gifts before they expire, one per bet.
Football.com will not pay. How do I complain?
Complaints about a bet's acceptance, settlement or resettlement must be made within 30 days of the bet being settled. In a dispute, Football.com's transaction log is final. If Football.com cannot settle it, it refers the dispute to an arbiter, under Nigerian law.
What to do: Write to nigeria.support@football.com within the 30 days with your phone number, the ticket ID (not the booking code), the amount and screenshots.
Before you contact support
- Use only Football.com's own app, site or verified social accounts. Anyone who messages you first offering to “release” a withdrawal for a fee is not Football.com.
- Never share your password, PIN or one-time codes. A transaction reference goes to your bank or to the bookmaker's support, nobody else.
- Have ready: the amount, the date and time, the account it went to, and a screenshot of the transaction.
- Football.com's official phone numbers, email and chat: Football.com customer care.
